DEADSIDE Console 1.4 - New High Intensity Island Map

Update 1.4 will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X on April 24th, at 11AM CEST / 4AM CDT!


Version 1.4 introduces Deadside's second map, created specifically for intense PvPvE battles with high player density. Expect to see a new desert biome, new POIs, a unique map flow, and giant chaotic fights!


This update comes with other cool features like the ability to shoot and reload mid-air, and apply your DLC skins to a handful of new weapons. And of course this version also comes with a bunch of bug fixes, due in part to the great feedback from our community. It really helps us identify and fix bugs, so keep it coming! New Features & Changes:

  • Added the ability to shoot and reload while jumping

  • Added the ability to apply skins to: MG-36, SKAR, RPK-mod, Mosin, MR5, NK417

  • Added more rag spawns into the world

  • Reduced the amount of ropes required to upgrade some structures to log tier

    • Normal & Triangle Log Foundations - Now requires one rope

    • Log Walls - Now requires one rope

  • Enhanced visual fidelity at 2560x1440p resolution

  • Refined aim assist behavior for improved balance


Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented a player to “drag and drop” a weapon into an empty inventory slot

  • Fixed a bug that caused base modules with 100% to lose an incorrect number of durability points when disassembled with a hammer

  • Fixed a bug causing a player to not hear other players jumping

  • Fixed various graphics and level design bugs

  • Fixed a bug that caused the barbed wire barricade to be un-placeable on the ground

  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect death/kill information to be displayed in game chat (including kill information on PvE servers).

  • Fixed displaced positions of Helicrash and Wandering Merchant

  • Fixed bugs with ammo count, missing shot sounds and durability loss when interrupting reloads by running

  • Fixed animation of RPK holding with extended magazine

  • Fixed a bug that caused carpets to block placement of objects

  • Fixed localization issues across multiple languages

  • Improved server performance under high load conditions

  • Resolved duplicated squad notifications in the HUD

  • Fixed a bug where players were thrown off ladders when attempting to climb

  • Patched an exploit that allowed bunker doors to be blocked

  • Fixed an issue where code lock settings were not being saved properly

  • Fixed an issue where nicknames and the “Add to Squad” button would not appear when inviting players

  • Resolved unintended sliding while using emotes

I will like to see who own what base it should have like a list of teams name and have it on the base so you know who own it and when you get hit you know he took what and you should add more players and more shit to do and make you get have more in a team and make the tree fall down when you hit them I do not see the point people can hit one tree and put it in there base and get wood and that from it make them fall down and add more vehicles like helicopters ps5 and xbox

I love the game but they need to update more shit to it the game is dead bad on Australia maps like your lucky to get 30 to 50 on 247 map then the 6pm to 12am maps are dead your lucky to get 4 to 10 people on atm I really hope they add more players and let you have more in a team to much people have left the game hope it pick back up ps5 and Xbox

This game has been enjoyable and I hope it continues to progress. I would love to dump a good amount of time into this game. Some ideas I’d like to suggest if possible 1.) I would really like some sort of log in this game. Who hit my trip mines, who destroyed my sleeping bag, who attacked my base. If I killed someone while offline for them getting stuck in my barbwire, etc. 2.) being able to always be squaded with your friends. Not needing to link up every single time you sign on to party up with your squad. 3.) maybe some sort of indication of your building areas when you open your map like maybe when you place…

We just need a other big map whit allot of trees but also whit 3 big cities an maybe ad public servers whit schedule raid time s would be more fun now I am forced to build tree houses because the other players live in a different time zone so the raid only offline that's so annoying

Can we fix were if someone is chasing you in a jeep and flashing lights and honking at same time you start lagging on ps5
