Deadside console version 1.5.7 will release on August 13th at 11:00AM CEST / 4:00AM CDT!

The goal of this small patch is to fix important issues while including some other bug fixes and changes. One critical issue is the crashing, we have fixed the root cause of these crashes, and improved overall stability as well. Thank you for your patience while we worked on this issue, we wish we could have fixed it sooner but unfortunately this process can take some time.

AI behavior will be changing in 1.5.7, now AI will miss their first shot more often, but get more accurate over time. Additionally the bugged hardcore AI parameter has been temporarily removed until we can find a more elegant solution. In the meantime, AI should be working as intended.

For the other bug fixes check out the full patch notes, thanks for reading, enjoy 1.5.7!

Food for thought.... keep the game more interesting by the following

  • Humvee or vehicle upgrades reinforced etc

  • Customised paint jobs or Customised clothing

  • Please increase turret damage for base defences

  • Add a riot shield to counter the turret buffer?

  • Night vision attachments but make them super rare?

  • Molotov cocktails? Craftable?

  • Bit too early but being able to dig into terrain to build bunkers/bases

  • Oil rigs or just a new map in general?

  • Fix the issue when trying to aim and hold aim through doorways and Windows instead it likes to point my gun up in the air 😅

  • Have a tonne more ideas so just employ me and you'll game will be successful 🫣😜

  • TBO AZTRO discord and xbox

Since we're talking about vehicles.. Please reduce the cost of maintaining the 'mechanics workbench' or introduce a (hard to earn) item that let's you keep a vehicle on your base permanently. Also please remove 'push damage' and fix the way a vehicle reacts when you hit a player (PvE). Instead of the vehicle bouncing off the player, let it go through them.

Hello Devs,

currently there is a critical balancing issue in Deadside:

  • No oil = no vehicle.

  • No vehicle = no mobility, no trading, no logistics.

  • No logistics = no game progression.

Vehicles are the backbone of Deadside’s survival gameplay. Without stable access to oil (or a working alternative mechanic), players are completely blocked. Bases become isolated, exploration collapses, and the overall gameplay loop breaks.

Right now, this feels like a game-breaking bottleneck. Many players will not wait long for a fix – they will simply leave.

👉 Please take this seriously and adjust quickly (spawn rates, alternative crafting, or new balancing). Otherwise, the risk is that the community “chokes” at this single point.

Thanks for listening,[a concerned survivor]

Hello developers, We've gathered some ideas for how to expand Deadside with more PvE elements and environmental interactions. The focus is on animals, hunting, survival, and atmospheric additions.

1. New Wildlife Large Animals: Bears (threat, rare, very dangerous) Wolves (small packs, nighttime danger, track players) Elk / Reindeer (rather passive, but can attack if harassed) Siberian Tigers (extremely rare, "final boss of the wild") Livestock & Small Animals: Wild Ducks / Geese (for hunting and food) Dogs (as companions – see Boomer from Far Cry 5, sleuth, combat and search aid)

2. Hunting & Supplies Hunting provides meat, fur, and bones → crafting materials. Animals react dynamically (flee, attack, defend their young). Canine companions can find food independently and occasionally…
